806% Organic Traffic Growth for an Influencer Marketing Platform (Modash)

Objective

Increase organic traffic to Modash’s product and blog pages by building relevant backlinks from high-authority SaaS sites.

Opportunity

We got in touch with Modash in April 2022. At that time, their traffic was growing but not growing faster than their expectations.

Modash has always had impactful topical authority, helping them index and rank new content almost instantly.

However, their rankings stagnated for core product pages because of immense competition from other influencer marketing platforms.

With a strong on-page presence and a solid content marketing strategy, we were confident that relevant links from quality domains to Modash’s core product and blog pages would generate more signups from organic searches.

Strategies Employed

Here’s how we increased Modash’s revenue using Off-Page SEO:

1. Editorial Link Insertions: We conducted in-depth research to identify relevant and authoritative websites in the social media (and marketing) niche. We contacted the editors of these sites to secure the links for Modash. Disclaimer: We did not pay editors to place the links. The links were acquired as a result of our long-term relationship with the editors.

Results

In 32 months, we built more than 132 links for Modash. When we started working with Modash (in April 2022), the monthly organic traffic was 20K, and now, after 32 months of strategic link building, the monthly organic traffic is more than 180K.

Challenges Faced

Getting Modash added to listicles was challenging since the editors were not ready to edit the listicles. However, our value-giving approach helped us secure a few notable listicle wins.
