The exact 90-day playbook we run for clients
The right SaaS marketing agency depends on which channel you need fixed. Directive and Powered by Search run paid and organic together, Refine Labs builds demand on LinkedIn, SaaS Hero and Hey Digital run paid media, and we cover SEO and AI visibility. Fees run from about $4,000 a month for one channel to $26,000 for a full demand program.
We started with the 33 agencies named on the four SaaS marketing listicles that rank highest on Google this month, added the ones Google's AI Overview recommends, and cut the list to 14. Each agency was scored on SaaS focus, pipeline reporting, named client results, public pricing and AI search work. We run a SaaS SEO agency, so we're on the list too. The method section explains where we put ourselves and why.
If you're still deciding which channels deserve the budget, our guide to SaaS marketing strategy maps channels to deal size, and the SaaS SEO hub covers the organic side. This page assumes you've picked the channel and need the team to run it.

What Does a SaaS Marketing Agency Do?
A SaaS marketing agency plans and runs the channels that bring a software company trials, demos and pipeline: paid search, paid social, SEO, content and now visibility inside AI answers. Unlike a general digital marketing agency for SaaS clients, the good ones report pipeline and payback. They also know a product-led trial needs different pages than a sales-led demo funnel.
Most of them fall into four groups. The group matters more than the logo on the proposal.
- Full-funnel agencies such as Directive, Powered by Search, TripleDart and Bay Leaf Digital run paid and organic channels under one plan and one report.
- Demand creation shops like Refine Labs make LinkedIn and video content that buyers remember months before they're in market.
- Paid media specialists such as SaaS Hero and Hey Digital live inside cost per demo on Google and LinkedIn.
- SEO and content agencies like SimpleTiger and Animalz build pages that rank in Google and get cited in ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini and Google AI Overviews.
Fractional CMO firms such as Kalungi sit across all four and lend you a marketing leader. They make sense when nobody in-house owns the plan yet.
AI search changes the brief for every group, though less than the sales decks suggest. The OppAlerts study of about 167,000 domains found that Google rankings and strong backlinks are what drive AI recommendations, so there's no separate playbook for ChatGPT or Perplexity. In our view, agencies selling GEO as a standalone product are mostly repackaging SEO.
How We Evaluated These SaaS Marketing Agencies
We scored each agency on five weighted criteria, using its own site, its Clutch profile and its published case studies, all checked between 6 and 9 October 2026. No agency paid to be included. The shortlist came from the four SaaS marketing listicles ranking highest on Google, plus Google's AI Overview for the same search.
Pipeline reporting and SaaS focus carry 25% each. Named client proof, meaning a client name, a number and a timeframe, carries 20%. Public pricing and AI search work carry 15% each, and an agency with no published price and no Clutch minimum lost those points. Clutch ratings count only where an agency actually has reviews, because four agencies here have none.
One note on bias. We run this site and sell SEO, so we have a stake in the order. All four top-ranking SaaS marketing listicles we audited put their own agency at #1. We put ourselves at #2, behind Directive, whose paid and organic depth is wider than ours. Lily Ray's June 2026 study of 100 "best [category] software" queries found that when a brand's own listicle was cited in a Google AI Overview, the brand was left out of the recommendation 69% of the time (224 of 323 citations). Self-promotion travels badly, so we kept every entry factual, our own included.
The Best SaaS Marketing Agencies in 2026
Directive tops our list of the best SaaS marketing agencies for full-funnel depth, and the other 13 follow in order of how well they covered our five criteria. Each entry opens with a short verdict, then one named client result, the starting price and the weak spots worth knowing before you book a sales call.
Directive Consulting: Best for Performance Marketing at Scale
Directive is a B2B performance marketing agency that runs paid media, SEO and content against pipeline targets, with a dedicated technology vertical. It suits growth-stage and enterprise SaaS teams that want paid and organic under one report, and its 56 Clutch reviews average 4.8, the strongest third-party record on this list.
Its clearest SaaS result is Arctic Wolf: closed/won revenue up 109% quarter over quarter and pipeline up 59%, per Directive's technology page. It also runs RevOps and performance creative, so one team can own the path from ad click to closed deal.
Pricing: no public price list. Clutch lists a $10,000 minimum and a typical project of $10,000 to $49,999.
Watch for: SaaS is one division among several, next to commerce, PR and marketplace ads. And the $10,000 floor rules out most seed-stage budgets.
SAASY LINKS: Best for SEO and AI Visibility
SAASY LINKS is a SaaS SEO agency that builds editorial authority on commercial pages (product, pricing and comparison pages) and reports AI visibility as citations per engine in ChatGPT, Perplexity and Gemini. It works only with B2B SaaS, AI and software companies, and fits scaling teams between $1M and $10M ARR.
The sprint covers bottom-funnel content, white-hat editorial link building through 3,500+ established editorial partners, technical SEO, brand mentions and AI search work, run by a senior-led team with the founder in strategy and QC. HeyReach is the clearest result: 60 links over 12 months took its comparison and alternatives pages from outside the top 20 into the top 5 for 19 keywords, with 34 ChatGPT, 58 Perplexity and 12 Gemini citations. That came from a link building engagement, not the full sprint. The AI side is scoped in more detail on our AI SEO for SaaS page.
Pricing: transparent pricing, with the SaaS SEO sprint from $4,000/month, month-to-month, and link-only plans from $1,250/month.
Watch for: it won't run paid ads, lifecycle email or social. It takes SaaS and tech clients only, works on monthly retainers with no one-off orders, and the team is India-based, so US West Coast calls land early or late.
Refine Labs: Best for Demand Creation
Refine Labs is a demand creation agency that pairs paid social with creative built to reach B2B buyers long before they're shopping, organized around its Brand, Demand, Expand model. It works with SaaS companies at Series B and later, and publishes its prices, which almost nobody at this level does.
For Fourth (HotSchedules), it grew qualified pipeline 43% and SQLs 44% year over year. The ladder is public: creative-only work at $5,000/month, paid media management at $14,000 and the full demand and media program at $26,000, plus a $35,000 six-week assessment.
Pricing: from $5,000/month for creative only, $26,000/month for the full program.
Watch for: the $14,000 and $26,000 tiers carry a six-month minimum, and its Clutch profile has no reviews yet, so plan on calling references.
Powered by Search: Best for High-ACV B2B SaaS
Powered by Search is a B2B SaaS growth agency built for high-ACV companies, with paid media, SEO and LLM visibility under one team. It's made for software sold at $50,000 to $500,000+ a year, where sales cycles run 6 to 18 months and one extra demo is worth a lot of ad spend.
Loopio is its headline client, with demos up 41% quarter over quarter. Its own pricing guides put paid media from $6,000/month and SEO and LLM work from $9,000/month.
Pricing: from $6,000/month. Clutch lists a $5,000 minimum and $200 to $300 an hour.
Watch for: product-led SaaS with small contracts would be paying for an enterprise sales model, and the agency has no Clutch reviews.
TripleDart: Best for Multi-Channel Programs
TripleDart is a B2B SaaS marketing agency that sells SEO and AEO, paid search, ABM and GTM engineering as separate services or as one package. Pick it when you want several channels from one vendor without full-service pricing, since a single service starts at $5,000/month.
Its Glean numbers are on the homepage: organic clicks grew from 18,000 to 67,000 and ranking keywords from 4,000 to 22,000. Paid media fees are banded by ARR, from $500,000 up past $20 million. Clutch shows 4.9 from 8 reviews.
Pricing: from $5,000/month per service. The full-service package is quoted custom.
Watch for: full service starts with a six-month agreement. Most delivery runs from Bengaluru, with headquarters in Plano, Texas.
Kalungi: Best for Fractional CMO Support
Kalungi is a B2B SaaS marketing firm that rents you a fractional CMO plus an execution team, run on its T2D3 playbook. It fits companies without a senior marketing leader, from pre-revenue to $50 million ARR, with a separate service tier for each ARR band.
For DataGuard, a 12-month engagement produced 330% more MQLs and $4 million in qualified pipeline. Because the CMO comes with the team, you're buying a plan and the hands to run it, which suits companies replacing a marketing lead who just left.
Pricing: not published. Its Clutch profile lists a $25,000 minimum project.
Watch for: its own FAQ calls 6 to 12 months a sensible minimum, it bills in advance, and you pay for your own martech stack on top.
Bay Leaf Digital: Best for SaaS Lead Generation
Bay Leaf Digital is a SaaS marketing agency for seed and early growth companies that need SEO, GEO, PPC and HubSpot work from one small senior team. Its own FAQ says an agency fits best under $5 million ARR, which is an honest line most agencies wouldn't print.
TrueFort, a cybersecurity SaaS, grew organic sessions 140% and leads 30% within a year. Clutch rates Bay Leaf 5.0 from 4 reviews.
Pricing: Authority Builder at $3,999/month on a six-month engagement, Growth Partner from $5,000/month.
Watch for: the entry tier locks you in for six months, and four Clutch reviews is a thin record.
Hey Digital: Best for Paid Social
Hey Digital is a paid social agency for B2B SaaS that runs LinkedIn and Meta ads, creative and ABM for companies past product-market fit with a defined ICP. It says plainly that pre-PMF companies probably aren't a fit, which saves both sides a sales call.
For Toggl, it cut ad spend 52% while closed-won deal value from paid grew 159%, comparing January to August 2025 with the same months of 2024. Clutch shows 4.5 from 5 reviews.
Pricing: not published. Clutch lists a $5,000 minimum, and most projects there run under $10,000.
Watch for: it's paid only, it doesn't do one-month tests, and the team is in Tallinn, Estonia.
SaaS Hero: Best for Google Ads
SaaS Hero is a paid search agency for SaaS that runs Google and LinkedIn ads, landing pages and CRO for companies growing ARR through paid. It publishes a flat-fee ladder tied to ad spend, which most paid agencies keep behind a sales call.
TripMaster added $504,758 in net new ARR at a 650% ROI in one year. Clutch rates SaaS Hero 5.0 from 11 reviews.
Pricing: from $4,500/month for up to $10,000 in monthly ad spend, rising to $15,000/month at $200,000+, on a three-month agreement.
Watch for: the fee climbs with spend, and you'll need another partner for SEO or content.
SimpleTiger: Best for SaaS SEO Programs
SimpleTiger is a SaaS SEO agency covering technical SEO, content, AEO and link building, with PPC on the side. It suits seed-stage to enterprise teams that want organic search as the main growth channel and have the budget to publish content at volume.
Invoca got a 41:1 ROI over the first 10 months and more than $3 million in revenue from AI and organic search in 2025. Clutch shows 4.9 across 32 reviews.
Pricing: its contact page puts average retainers around $8,000/month, with no minimum.
Watch for: one Clutch reviewer called the content "rather expensive", and paid media isn't its core.
NoGood: Best for Growth Experiments
NoGood is a growth marketing agency that runs paid ads, SEO, AEO and CRO as a stream of experiments, keeping what lifts conversion and dropping the rest. It's best for well-funded SaaS teams with enough traffic to test against, since its average retainer is above $20,000/month.
For Intuit Accelerate, persona-based search ads lifted trial sign-ups 45% and trial-to-active conversion 500%. It doesn't sell standard packages. Clutch shows 5.0 from 3 reviews.
Pricing: average retainer above $20,000/month, per its own FAQ.
Watch for: many clients are consumer brands like Nike and L'Oréal, so ask for B2B SaaS references specifically.
NinjaPromo: Best for All-in-One Subscription Marketing
NinjaPromo sells marketing as a monthly subscription, with paid ads, SEO, social, design and PR bundled into hour-based plans. It suits SaaS teams that want one vendor across several small channels instead of one deep specialist, and it's the first agency Google's AI Overview names for this search.
Its Duck Design case reports $488,000 in monthly subscription revenue and a 3.7x paid ROAS. With 97 Clutch reviews at 4.9, it has the deepest review base on this list.
Pricing: Starter $4,000/month for 40 hours, Growth $7,200 and Scale $12,800, at $100 an hour.
Watch for: 40 hours covers one or two services, not the whole bundle, and its case studies lean crypto, fintech and consumer more than B2B SaaS.
The B2B Playbook: Best for LinkedIn Ads
The B2B Playbook is a LinkedIn ads agency and demand gen consultancy for B2B companies with a defined ICP. It's the lowest-cost way onto this list for LinkedIn specifically, starting at $2,250/month plus ad spend, with at least $2,000/month in spend recommended.
SKUTOPIA saw lead volume rise 300% and cost per acquisition fall more than 60%. The team also runs courses and a podcast, and it expects pipeline impact only after 60 to 90 days.
Pricing: from $2,250/month plus ad spend. The price page doesn't state a currency.
Watch for: it's Australia-based with mostly AU and APAC clients, and there are no full case-study pages or Clutch profile to check.
Animalz: Best for Thought Leadership Content
Animalz is a content agency for B2B SaaS that writes thought leadership, SEO and AEO content and whitepapers for category leaders. Choose it when what's missing is a point of view your market hasn't heard yet, and you'll judge it on authority more than on next quarter's demos.
For SupportLogic, Animalz grew qualified organic traffic 5x and keyword coverage 450% in 12 months. For more content-only options, compare our list of top SaaS content marketing agencies.
Pricing: not published. Clutch lists a $10,000 minimum project and $150 to $199 an hour.
Watch for: it's content only, with no paid or distribution work, and its Clutch profile has no reviews.
How Much Does a SaaS Marketing Agency Cost in 2026?
Most of the best SaaS marketing agencies on this list charge between $4,000 and $26,000 a month in fees, before ad spend. Where you land depends on how many channels you buy and whether the fee scales with spend. Single-channel specialists sit at the bottom of that range and demand creation programs at the top.
SaaS marketing agency fees by type (monthly, before ad spend)
| Agency type | Monthly fee | Examples from this list |
|---|---|---|
| Single-channel specialist | $4,000 to $8,000 | Bay Leaf Digital ($3,999), NinjaPromo ($4,000), SaaS Hero ($4,500), TripleDart ($5,000 per service), SimpleTiger (about $8,000) |
| Full-funnel or high-ACV | $6,000 to $15,000 | Powered by Search ($6,000 paid, $9,000 SEO), NinjaPromo Scale ($12,800), SaaS Hero at $200,000+ spend ($15,000) |
| Demand creation and growth teams | $14,000 to $26,000+ | Refine Labs ($14,000 paid, $26,000 full), NoGood ($20,000+ average) |
Two costs rarely show on the price page. Ad spend is billed separately, and some fees rise with it: SaaS Hero's goes from $4,500 to $15,000 as spend passes $200,000 a month. Then there are minimum terms. Refine Labs, Bay Leaf Digital and TripleDart's full-service package all start at six months, and SaaS Hero at three.
If organic search is the only channel you need, the best B2B SaaS SEO agencies list compares SEO specialists, where fees start lower than full-funnel retainers.
How to Choose a SaaS Marketing Agency for Your Stage
Match the agency to your ARR stage and your weakest channel, instead of the longest services list. A $2 million ARR company with no organic traffic needs a different partner than a $40 million company whose paid costs keep climbing. The table maps each stage to the agencies on this list that say they serve it.
Which SaaS marketing agency fits your stage
| Stage | What to fix first | Agencies that fit | Typical monthly fee |
|---|---|---|---|
| Pre-$1M ARR | One channel that proves demand | The B2B Playbook, SaaS Hero, Bay Leaf Digital | $2,250 to $5,000 |
| $1M to $10M ARR | The weakest channel, run by a specialist | SEO picks #2 and #10, SaaS Hero, Hey Digital, Bay Leaf Digital | $4,000 to $10,000 |
| $10M to $50M ARR | Paid and organic under one plan | Directive, Powered by Search, TripleDart, Kalungi | $10,000 to $25,000 |
| Series B and later, $50M+ | New demand and testing at scale | Refine Labs, NoGood, Directive | $20,000+ |
Our view: full-service agencies underdeliver on SEO because it's a side dish for them. A specialist with 30 clients will usually beat a full-service shop with 200 on organic, and the reverse often holds for paid media, where more accounts mean better benchmark data. So below $10 million ARR, pick the specialist for the channel that's failing.
Specialists also tend to show results inside a quarter or two. SAASY LINKS ran editorial link building for a fintech SaaS at DR 41: 15 placements from DR 50 to 78 sites over 4 months took its domain rating to 53 and doubled organic traffic from 2,100 to 4,300 visits a month. If organic is your weak spot, our SaaS SEO agency page shows how that work is scoped.
“SEO is not a checklist. It’s a strategic brand-dependent revenue channel.”
Check agencies the way your own buyers check vendors. TrustRadius' 2026 survey of 1,862 tech buyers found 63% used AI during a purchase and 94% of those fact-checked it, while 74% relied on reviews. Ask ChatGPT and Perplexity which agencies they'd recommend for your channel, then check every name against Clutch and a named case study.
And read the Reddit threads, because the AI engines do. SAASY LINKS tracked 6,132 AI answers to SEO, link building and marketing-agency prompts between 7 July and 5 October 2026. Of the 60 Reddit URLs cited most, 42 were community threads, and 29 of those were vendor-selection threads such as ranked lists and recommendation requests. An r/SaaS thread is the #1 Google result for this exact search.
Walk away from vanity keyword guarantees like "page 1 for 50 keywords". Those deals target long-tail terms nobody searches, so you end up ranking first for something like "best CRM software for left-handed dentists in Portland". Monthly reports that stop at clicks and leads, with no pipeline or closed-won number, are the other warning sign.
Frequently Asked Questions
What is the best SaaS marketing agency in 2026?
There's no single winner, because the best SaaS marketing agency depends on the channel you need. Directive is the strongest full-funnel pick, Refine Labs leads on demand creation, SaaS Hero on Google Ads and Hey Digital on paid social. For SEO and AI visibility, our own team is ranked #2 above.
How much does a SaaS marketing agency cost?
Single-channel specialists charge about $4,000 to $8,000 a month, full-funnel agencies $6,000 to $15,000, and demand creation programs $14,000 to $26,000. Ad spend comes on top, and several agencies require three- to six-month minimums.
What does a B2B SaaS marketing agency do?
A B2B SaaS marketing agency plans and runs the channels that produce trials, demos and pipeline, such as paid search, LinkedIn ads, SEO and content. The good ones report on pipeline and payback period instead of clicks.
Should you hire a specialist or a full-service SaaS marketing agency?
Hire a specialist when one channel is clearly the bottleneck, and a full-service agency once you need several channels run under one plan. Below $10 million ARR, most teams get more from one strong specialist.
How long does it take to see results from a SaaS marketing agency?
Paid media shows signal within 30 to 90 days, since spend buys clicks right away. SEO and content usually take 60 to 90 days for early movement and 6 to 12 months for pipeline impact.
What should you ask a SaaS marketing agency before signing?
Ask for two named SaaS case studies with pipeline numbers, the minimum term, and who will run your account day to day. Then ask how they'll report on ChatGPT, Perplexity and Google AI Overviews, since AI answers now shape buyer shortlists.
Should a SaaS company hire an agency or build an in-house team?
In our view, early and growth-stage SaaS gets more from an agency, because a $4,000 to $8,000 retainer covers channels one hire can't. Past roughly $20 million ARR, a hybrid works best: an in-house lead owns the plan and agencies run specific channels.
